Our restaurant is open Monday until Friday from 06:00 to 23:30. Hot food is available from 11:30 to 14:00 and 17:30 to 22:00. It has 19 different daily menus starting from CHF 13.70.

The breakfast buffet is served daily from 06:00 to 10:00.

Room information

All of our 19 en suite rooms are non-smoking. We care for your well-being and wish to ensure that you have a good night's sleep. This is why we have considered the latest findings of sleep research and provide beds with the best sleeping comfort.

Area information

Hotel Sporting is located on the outskirts of St. Gallen and can be easily reached by car or public transport. There are many sports facilities in the area, such as Kreuzbleiche and Gründenmoos sports halls, the ice skating hall, curling, riding stadium, outdoor pool, new football stadium and much more. Close by is the University and motorway connections to Zürich-Kloten and towards Rorschach, Bregenz-Lindau.

There are many hiking paths in the area that lead up to Appenzellerland.

The room was large and newly renovated. The staff was helpful and there were two computers to use free of charge. The breakfast was varied and good, lots of food.

A bit of outside of city center but public transport is very close and convenient.

This is absolutely the best hotel me or my wife have ever stayed at in any price range or rating. The staff is the most guest friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. If you wanted to stay at a home away from home, the hotel Sporting is it. You just cannot beat this hotel for price, comfort, cleanliness, or friendliness, and it has the best breakfast I have ever experienced in a hotel. The owner and staff just go out of their way to make sure you will be happy, and we were all very happy with our entire stay.

Op de website was (nog) niet vermeld, dat het restaurant gesloten was in het weekend. Alleen ontbijt.
